You, and your committee, are no doubt aware that the overwhelming majority of Americans oppose and deplore the Supreme Courts rulings which struck down God and His Word.
We are either for or against God. That righteousness exalteth a nation. That God still has a hand in the affairs of men and of this nation.

Soon after the controversial ruling in Engel v. Vitale, many Americans began to petition for an amendment to the Constitution allowing school prayer. School prayer amendments were attempted and defeated in 1971 and again in 1998.
