U.S. Marshal Report 1917

In this report, a U.S. marshal detailed his break-in at the house of Lutheran pastor William Krauleidis. Lutheran ministers faced particular scrutiny as Lutherans were largely of German descent. Reverend Krauleidis was eventually arrested for owning a gun because German immigrants were prohibited from keeping arms during the war.
