Congressmen from Georgia sent this resolution urging the Supreme Court to “expedite” its decision about the constitutionality of the new capital punishment statute. ‘’Gregg’’ v. ‘’Georgia’’, one of the 10 cases listed here, reaffirmed the constitutionality of capital punishment if certain procedures were met.
